Located at the beautiful Green Valley Ranch in Aubrey, Texas,the Brent Loseke Colt Company is a place where some of the elite prospects in the reining horse industry begin their educations. We keep several three year olds and a few nice four year olds to show, but by far the "lions share" of what we do is spend a lot of time teaching these two year olds the basic skills they will need before they go on to more advanced training they will receive as a three year old.
Why do we concentrate so much on the youngsters? Because it's what we love to do. At no other time in the horse's life will you see so much improvement in such a short period of time. It's very gratifying to see colts come in January, some barely halter broke, and see them blossom during the year and show what kind of talent they are going to have. Some will go on to be great champions and some will not, but we aim to give each and every colt every advantage that our experience will allow.
We have a small group of broodmares. We raised Chocolate Chic Olena, Chic Please, Senor Tejano Whiz, and several others with nice records, plus we feel that we have some future champions "in the works" right now.
